Inspired by this Lovely Lady and Her regular Dinner at 8, I’ve decided to at minimum once a month plan a Dinner at 8 for me and my hubby. The idea is that once the kids go down we would have an at home date dinner, where we could i don’t know actually eat a meal and have adult conversation. 😉 (quite the concept huh?)
I did our first one back in June and it was a ton of fun! We got ourselves some salmon and we did it up super simple in our toast oven with a bit of olive oil and seasonings. and a side of potatoes. That paired up with a ice cream and movie for dessert; and it was the perfect mini date!
I’m still trying to figure out when we will squeeze in one this month but we did manage to escape out for a night with some dear friends to the melting pot for some chocolate food and a kidless evening full of laughter and conversation.
